Three people were shot during a High School graduation ceremony at Skyline High School in Oakland, CA. Police have made three arrests, but they have not been named. The same school had a shooting last September “over a dice game,” but no one was hit.
Ironically, Great Schools ranks Skyline High as one of the better high schools in the Oakland Unified School District. It has a score of 5/10. Skyline is in a four-way tie for 9th place out of 36 high schools. That means it is ranked in the top 12, or top one-third, of high schools in the district.
