County Commissioner/RN says Portland 911 ignored his pleas to send help for junkie

He tried to get help for a female junkie having a drug induced freak out

Ben West is a county commissioner for Clackamas County, Oregon. West is also a registered nurse. He says he was visiting Portland in neighboring Multnomah County when he saw a topless female junkie having a “mental health crisis.” She believed she was covered in bugs.

The woman had been using meth and fentanyl.

West says that he called 911, but no help came.
