Dontarius McGee, 17, has been arrested in Jackson, MS, for the shooting of Brandy Littrell, a 36-year-old woman.
Littrell was a Lyft driver who picked up McGee at an apartment complex. After getting into her car, McGee pulled a gun on her and made her get into the back seat. Police say he drove the vehicle to a wooded area. After making Littrell crawl on her hands and knees, he shot her, execution-style, seven times.
Littrel miraculously survived and was able to walk to a nearby apartment complex.
Police say McGee confessed to the crime and that he is suspected of committing other serious crimes as well. However, the writing is on the wall. McGee is only being charged with kidnapping, carjacking, and aggravated assault. He is not even being charged with attempted murder. Because of his age, he will probably be given extra leniency.
