Dustin Rose, 19, and Sampson Campbell, 18, were childhood friends who grew up in Deland, FL.
Rose was living in Charleston and attending the Citadel. Campbell was living in Chicago. They were both visiting Deland at the same time.
Police have not disclosed any info on Rundell’s classified criminal record, other than to stress that he is extremely dangerous. The victims met with Rundell under the pretense of a cannabis sale.
