How to boycott Anheuser Busch

Anheuser Busch hires Tik Tok "trans woman" as spokesman

High-profile “Tik Tok influencer” Dylan Mulvaney has been hired by Bud Light to represent their company.

Until recently, Mulvaney was an effeminate gay man. Then he started documenting his “journey to girlhood” on Tik Tok. He is now celebrating “365 days as a girl.” His videos blur the line between parody and real life. Often, people can’t tell if his videos are comedy sketches or not when they first see them. Many draw comparison’s between comedy sketches done by Jimmy Fallon and others. However, corporations, the entertainment world, and even the White House are taking him very seriously. Mulvaney was recently invited to meet Joe Biden.

Mulvaney has not disclosed ever taking hormonal drugs or any procedures. He does not appear to be a real transsexual, meaning someone who has permanently altered their appearance with drugs or surgeries. He is just a guy in woman’s clothes who seems a lot like

Many remain skeptical that Mulvaney is not conducting some super-long mass troll. Others think he noticed how lucrative it could be to call himself a “trans woman” and decided to cash in.
Now, Anheuser Busch has hired him as a spokesman and even put his picture on cans of Bud Light.

Many are asking how to boycott Anheuser Busch so they can express their disapproval. The company is owned by the corporation AB InBev, which is based in Leuven, Belgium. This is a publicly-traded company. However, it is listed on Euronext, which is not an American exchange. In America, you can only buy publicly traded funds that hold shares in AB InBev. The largest is BUD on the New York Stock Exchange.

AB InBev owns about 400 different brands of beer including Budweiser, Busch, Natural, Michelob, Corona, Stella Artois, Beck’s, Landshark, Hoegaarden, Leffe, Labatt, Goose Island, Rolling Rock, and Shock Top.

The largest breweries selling beer in the USA other than AB InBev, are SABMiller, Heineken International. Molson Coors, and Pabst Brewing Company.

  • Miller and Pilsner Urquell are owned by SABMiller
  • Heineken and Amstel are owned by Heineken International
  • Coors and Blue Moon are owned by Molson Coors
  • Pabst Blue Ribbon and Schlitz are owned by Pabst Brewing Company

Of course most smaller local breweries are not connected to AB InBev.

Note: Budweiser and Bud Light violate the Reinheitsgebot, or German Beer Purity Act, and would not be legally considered beer if brewed in Germany. This is because they use rice as a cheap adulterant.

Many draw comparisons between Dylan Mulvaney’s videos and comedy sketches done by Jimmy Fallon between 2014 and 2017.
