Colorado Governor Jared Polis, a Democrat, broke rank with fellow Democrats and announced that the “Covid-19 emergency is over.” Polis said that there would be no new mandates. While the Governor is a strong supporter of Covid-19 vaccines, he said that people are responsible for their actions, and he can’t be worried about people who decline to take one.
Polis alleged that the vaccines are “highly effective,” but at the same time said people should get re-vaccinated after only six months.
