Berkeley: 11% of Californian voters strongly support cash reparations for Blacks

Cash payments are primarily only supported by Blacks

The Berkeley Institute of Government Studies polled 6,030 registered California voters nationwide. The polling was done in late August.

Altogether, 28% of the state favors cash reparations payments to Blacks, and 59% opposes. Of this, only 11% strongly favor cash payments, and 44% strongly oppose them.

Only 7% of Whites, 8% of Asians, and 9% of Latinos responded that they strongly support cash payments. However, 51% of Blacks said they strongly support cash payments.
