Former member of the CHAZ/CHOP security forces convicted of two federal terrorism-related charges

He could also face charges related to the murder of an unarmed 16-year-old Black male

This website has already published a lot of details on self-described Antifa member Daniel Baker before.

He fought in Syria with the YPG, the armed wing of the Syrian branch of the Kurdish Marxist group PKK. He was active in the Seattle Autonomous Zone [CHAZ/CHOP] and often seen openly carrying guns.

He admitted publicly to being present when CHAZ/CHOP “security forces” killed Antonio Mays, Jr., an unarmed 16-year-old Black male victim, and seriously injured an unarmed 14-year-old Black male victim. Rival left-wing factions posted allegations online that Baker was one of the gunmen. Baker claimed he administered first aid to the victims and did not have a gun at the time. He immediately left the CHAZ/CHOP and was approached by FBI agents at a nearby gas station. He videotaped himself telling the agents he was refusing to cooperate and posted the video on YouTube.

Later, in January of 2021, Baker was arrested in Florida by the FBI. They said he was trying to recruit people for an armed attack on Trump supporters.

The FBI subpoenaed Facebook and received 25,000 pages of data containing incriminating conversations. After four hours of deliberation, the jury convicted Baker of two felony charges of using the internet to threaten people with kidnapping and violence. He now faces ten years in federal prison and a $500k fine.

Baker’s defense lawyer argued that his client was a “harmless” man who suffered from a Napoléon complex due to his short stature. He said that Baker’s 5’3″ height led him to act like a tough guy on the internet. Federal prosecutors pointed to Baker’s combat experience in Syria and said he was fully capable of serious violence.

Baker will be sentenced on August 16th.

Many wonder if and when Baker will face charges related to the fatal shooting of Antonio Mays, Jr. Online rumors claim that private security guards, hired by businesses near the CHAZ/CHOP, have provided law enforcement with details on the shooting.

Numerous friends of Baker attended the trial, and several testified on his behalf.

These are video clips from the June 29th fatal shooting of an unarmed 16-year-old Black male by left-wing militants in Seattle. Everyone has refused to cooperate with law enforcement and the murder has gone unsolved. Baker has publicly admitted on social media to being at the scene of the shooting.
