
Six days after IL Governor JB Pritzker posted a picture of himself with Kellen McMiller, 35, calling him a “trusted messenger” and a “peace keeper,” McMiller has been charged with murder. JB Pritzker was promoting Black “peace keepers” as an alternative to cooperating with the Trump administration to reduce crime in Chicago. He posted the picture on his official Governor’s website on September 5th, with a message title, “Governor Pritzker Meets with Community Members Amid Heightened Concern of Trump’s Federal Deployment Plans.”
According to CPD, McMiller had three out-of-state warrants and one in-state warrant prior to being arrested for new violent felonies on September 11th. News articles from 2021 show that he was arrested for fighting with police while on vacation in Miami Beach, Florida.
On September 11th, a large group of Black males used as a many as six stolen cars to block traffic and loot a Luis Vuitton store in Chicago. Then they caused a huge wreck as they sped away and killed Mark Arceta, 40.

Dejuan Wingard, B/M/30. Has been arrested at least 11 times in Chicago.
Darius Bowdry, B/M/30. Has been arrested at least 12 times in Chicago and had an active warrant for burglary.
Keller McMillan, B/M/35. Had three out-of-state fugitive warrants and an in-state warrant.
Alton Jackson, B/M/37. Has been arrested at least five times in Chicago and was on parole for a felony conviction.
Harvey Fischer, B/M/26. Has been arrested at least six times in Chicago.

Anthony Hemphill, B/M/22. Received probations for a weapons violation in Chicago.
Keith Perkins, B/M/19. No previous adult arrest record in Chicago.
Most of the suspects are still at-large, and most of the merchandise has not been recovered.
All seven have been charged with murder during the commission of a forcible felony, burglary, and felony theft. Wingard is also charged with reckless homicide.
