Vijaya Gadde has been the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Twitter since 2013. According to public records, she has been compensated between $17 million and $7 million each years. Most of her salary came in the form of free Twitter stock.
The CEO and CFO of Twitter, along with Vijaya Gadde and Chief legal counsel Sean Edgettwas had to vacate the San Francisco headquarters after the Twitter sale was closed.
Vijaya Gadde famously appeared on the Joe Rogan show to defend the company’s censorship of conservatives. She has also appeared on other shows and usually justifies censoring conservative speech as “improving civility.”
