Dayjia Blackwell, who goes by “Meatball” on social media, is the woman who live-streamed the Philadelphia riots on Instagram. She has now been charged with multiple felonies. She claims that she was traumatized by her one night in jail. She is also selling t-shirts with her mug shot on them.
Her lawyer, Jessica C. Mann, has posted a tirade on Facebook & Instagram. She says that criticism of Meatball in the media is “an all-out assault on black and brown people.”
