Ahmedaltayeb Modawi is a 17-year-old Sudanese immigrant who has been living with his family in Houston, Texas, for the past five years.
Modawi was working as a valet driver when police spotted him doing donuts in a customer’s car. They attempted to pull him over. He led police of a six-mile high-speed chase before slamming into three people and killing them.
The victims were all valet drivers at a Houston bar. They include Fnan Measho, a 17-year-old Ethiopian immigrant, Nick Rodriguez, and Eric Orduna, 22.
Modawi was charged with three counts of murder. He is being held on a $350 bond, and his Sudanese passport was seized. The media did not disclose the exact immigration status of the suspect in the media. However, tens of thousands of Sudanese “refugees” have been brought to the United States using tax-payer-funded grants. No one is ever held accountable when the people brought over commit horrible crimes.
Houston has been experiencing a dramatic surge in homicides for the past two years. As of Sept. 27, 2021, homicides were up 30% over the same time period in 2020 and 73% over the same time period in 2019. Houston had 199 murders in 2019 and already had 350 in 2021 so far.
