Soros funded DA Mike Schmidt loses re-election

Can new DA turn Portland around?

One of America’s most notorious far-left District Attorneys has lost his re-election bid to a man who promises to reverse his radical soft-on-crime policies.

National Conservative has reported on Soros-funded Multnomah DA Mike Schmidt for years. Schmidt took power in 2020 after receiving large amounts of funding from George Soros. His 2024 re-election bid was also heavily funded by George Soros.

Under Schmidt’s reign, Portland set a brand new all-time homicide rate record.
