Suspect listed as “race unknown” in public data. Mugshot was classified due to age. Velasco is a Basque name common in Mexico and Columbia. Four shot, three killed. All fatalities are Black.

Velasco was friends with two of the victims. They were smoking pot and playing with guns. Allegedly Velasco decided to start shooting people to steal a gun.
